Code of Conduct |
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES BEFORE JOINING WSTRT.WSTRT welcomes ANY person who shares our determination to reinstate the Bill of Rights and the Constitution to their proper places as the Supreme Law of this Land, at all levels of government. White supremacists, bigots, anti-Semites, homophobes and racists need not apply. Verbal protests, signs and letters will not contain profanity or threats of any kind. We want to make the impression that we are what we are - respectful, decent folks. When confronted by an angry opposition, do not let yourself get drawn into a shouting match. The media will paint us as screaming lunatics if they get the chance. The initiation of physical confrontation is obviously unacceptable. While the TRT unilaterally rejects the concept of initiating violence against others, it most certainly will not limit itself nor its members from using whatever force may be necessary to protect, defend and safeguard its members and the citizenry as a whole, against such violent threats as may be made against it. Remain polite and courteous. We don't want a reputation as a bunch of rude loud-mouths. Please, don't do or say anything you wouldn't want your Grandmother to find out about. If our assembly takes place on private property, we will leave if asked by the owner or legal authorities to do so. For activities occuring on public property, we will comply with all municipal codes which are applicable. In the city of Seattle, see the following sections of the Seattle Municipal Code: *
On the State Capitol Grounds (Olympia), see the following section of the Washington Administrative Code: *
To find out more about ordinances in other cities and municipalities, see the Municipal Index. |
