The Endangered Species Act KILLS.All the salmon in the entire Chewuch River were not worth ONE of these firefighters' lives. |

For years, government bureaucrats and enviro-socialist extremists have been using the Endangered Species Act (ESA) to destroy the lives of thousands of American farmers, ranchers, fishermen and loggers. Even suburban and urban citizens have been negatively impacted by these "green Nazis", but no one seems to have noticed, until these four firefighters died. These fine young people, with so much of their lives left before them, were left to die in a hellish inferno as public servants, OUR servants, fretted over defying their Federal masters by dipping into a river which contained three ESA-protected species of salmon for water to douse the flames that would consume the lives, hopes and dreams of four brave firefighters. In addition to the deaths of Devin Weaver, Jessica Johnson, Karen Fitzpatrick and Tom Craven, several firefighters were injured, including Jason Emhoff, 21, of Yakima, whose hands were burned to the bone, Thomas Taylor, 31, of Lake Wenatchee; Scott Sherzinger, 24, of Selah; and Rebecca Welch, 22, of Naches. Rebecca's heroic and selfless actions saved the lives of hikers Bruce and Pauline Hagemeyer. Countless lives have been destroyed by environmental totalitarianism and the mindless myopia of federal bureaucrats in their coldblooded enforcement of the ESA. How many more lives will be ruined, how much property and freedom stolen, before we finally force our government to amend the ESA? Contact your U.S. Representatives and Senators NOW, demand that the ESA be amended IMMEDIATELY, to protect our lives, our property and our freedom.
